The room was tidy, the bed was big, the staff was informative, the breakfast was generous, and having an attached restaurant was a plus; I will definitely visit again next time.

This place has a great central location, close to a huge boulder, in a peaceful area, and it also offers a restaurant with delicious food.

The staff gave great recommendations and the rooms had everything we needed. The food at the guesthouse was delicious. a perfect introduction to our Indian adventure. Definitely coming back!

Rajalakshmi Guesthouse is a nice place to stay in Mahabalipuram, especially when compared to other hotels. I had a lovely experience during my 1-night stay. - the guesthouse has a nice size, budget, and an inside patio. - the food from the attached restaurant was good.

The location was great, just a stone's throw away from the beach. There were also plenty of amazing restaurants nearby, serving delicious food. Additionally, the staff was really friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests.

The cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired. There was a cigarette butt that hadn't been cleaned away, which was quite off-putting.

Loved the cozy terrace cafe and the restaurant, where I enjoyed their tasty food. Free WiFi was a bonus. Also, being able to rent a bike and explore the beautiful surroundings was great. Con: Oh, and let's not forget about the unforgettable experience of weak water pressure in the shower. It was like being caught in a light summer rain. Hilarious!
